WHY DO WE CLAP OUR HANDS?
“O clap your hands all ye people, shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”
WHY DO WE SING CHORUSES AND HYMNS?
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
WHY DO WE LIFT OUR HANDS?
“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord”
WHY ARE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS USED AS PART OF THE WORSHIP SERVICE?
“Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.”
Psalms 150: 3-5
WHY DO WE HAVE SPEAKING IN TONGUES AND INTERPRETATION IN THE CHURCH?
“If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course, and let one interpret.”
I Corinthians 14:27
WHY DO WE HAVE THE LAYING ON OF HANDS?
“Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him, and he laid his hands on every one ot them, and healed them.”
WHY DO WE USE ANOINTING OIL?
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”
WHY DO WE USE ANOINTING CLOTHS?
“And God wrought special miracles by he hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkertchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”
WHY DOES THE WHOLE CHURCH PRAY TOGETHER?
“And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is.”
WE WELCOME YOU BACK TO OUR CHURCH, THAT’S ON THE MOVE, AND IS LED BY THE SPIRIT
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
